Open PFA in Safari
On iPhone, open the PFA website in Safari first. The Home Screen install path works best from Safari, not from another browser.

For the strongest live trail reliability on iPhone, keep the PFA web app open while tracking. The install path still gives you the practical parts that matter most: maps, overlays, detector setup, AI-guided field intelligence, saved finds, and the wider field workflow in a cleaner app-style shell.

Tap Share
Tap the Share button in Safari, then scroll down through the actions until you see `Add to Home Screen`.

Add to Home Screen
Tap `Add to Home Screen`, keep the name as `PFA` or `Prospector's Field Assistant`, then tap `Add`.

Launch it like an app
Open PFA from the iPhone Home Screen. It will run in standalone mode so it feels much closer to an app than a normal browser tab.
