Information we collect

We may collect account information, device information, location information if you allow location access, and field session data such as detector selections, region pack selections, saved notes, and find logs.

How we use information

We use information to provide detector recommendations, support map and location-based tools, save and restore field sessions, improve app performance, and provide customer support.

Location data

If you grant location permission, the app may use your location to improve field recommendations, map tools, and session logging. You can disable location access in your device settings at any time.

Data storage

Some data may be stored locally on your device. If cloud sync is added, saved sessions and related app data may also be stored securely in cloud services used by the platform.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers only as needed to operate the app and website, such as hosting, analytics, crash reporting, subscription processing, or cloud storage providers.

Your choices

You can decline location permission, delete saved local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage, and delete your synced account from the website profile or the mobile app profile when account syncing is enabled.

Children

Prospector's Field Assistant is not intended for children under 13 without parental supervision.
